Engineering & Technology Teacher of the Year
The division's top honor, recognizing sustained excellence in the classroom and leadership beyond it.
Eligibility:
Current GAeTED member with five or more years teaching engineering or technology in Georgia.
New Teacher of the Year
For a teacher in their first three years who has already changed what students expect of themselves.
Eligibility:
GAeTED member in years one through three of teaching.


Administrator of the Year
Recognizes a school or district administrator who has championed engineering and technology education.
Eligibility:
A GAeTED member and a Georgia school or district administrator supporting E&T programs.
Post-Secondary Professional of the Year
For outstanding contribution to engineering and technology education at the post-secondary level.
Eligibility:
A GAeTED member and a post-secondary educator or administrator in Georgia.


Counseling and Career Development Professional of the Year
Recognizes a counselor or career development professional who has guided students into engineering and technology pathways.
Eligibility:
Current GAeTED member and a School counselor or career development professional in Georgia.
Teacher Educator Award
For excellence in preparing the next generation of engineering and technology teachers.
Eligibility:
GAeTED member and University or college faculty preparing future E&T teachers in Georgia.


Carl Perkins Community Service Award
For outstanding community service that advances career and technical education.
Eligibility:
A GAeTED member and Individual or organization demonstrating exceptional service to CTE in Georgia.
Lifetime Achievement Award
The division's highest honor for a career dedicated to engineering and technology education.
Eligibility:
GAeTED member with a sustained record of excellence and service over many years.
